Refund Policy

Ibtidaa Welfare Foundation

This Refund Policy applies to all donations made to Ibtidaa Welfare Foundation. Ibtidaa Welfare Foundation values transparency and donor trust. This policy explains the limited circumstances under which refunds may be issued.

1. General Policy

All donations made to Ibtidaa Welfare Foundation are voluntary and generally non-refundable.

Once a donation is processed, it may be allocated, committed, or utilized for welfare activities.

2. Eligible Refund Situations

Refunds may be considered only in the following cases:

  • Duplicate transactions
  • Incorrect donation amount due to a technical error
  • Unauthorized or fraudulent transactions (subject to verification)

Refund eligibility is determined based on review of the transaction and supporting information.

3. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, you must:

  • Contact us within 7 days of the transaction
  • Provide proof of payment (transaction ID, receipt, or relevant details)
  • Clearly state the reason for the request

Requests submitted after this period may not be considered.

4. Review and Approval

All refund requests are subject to review.

We may:

  • Verify transaction details
  • Assess eligibility under this policy
  • Request additional information if required

Submission of a request does not guarantee approval.

All decisions regarding refunds are made at the discretion of Ibtidaa Welfare Foundation.

5. Refund Processing

If approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 7–14 working days
  • The amount will be returned to the original payment method, where possible

If the original payment method is unavailable, we may contact you to determine an appropriate alternative method.

Any non-recoverable bank, payment gateway, or processing charges may be deduded from the refunded amount unless the refund results from our error or is otherwise required by law.

Processing timelines may vary depending on financial institutions or payment providers.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Change of intention after making a donation
  • Requests made after the specified timeframe
  • Donations that have already been allocated, committed, or utilized
  • Zakat or religious donations that have already been distributed

7. Third-Party Payment Services

Where donations are made through third-party platforms:

  • Refund processing may depend on that provider's timelines and procedures
  • Ibtidaa Welfare Foundation is not responsible for delays caused by third-party systems

We will, however, assist in resolving valid issues where possible.

8. Commitment to Fair Handling

We aim to review all refund requests fairly and consistently.

This policy is designed to balance donor trust with the operational realities of charitable work.
